hey Foxy, we always try to locate and post info on design competitions in the designers&collections section of tFS, you just need to scroll back and find our older topics, or keep updated for spotting them out as soon as they appear.

you may need to contact Design Council or other local (uk) design institutions for upcoming competitions, Triumph international just had an underwear/swimwear competition up (check their site) but i think the deadline is over now.

best luck in locating more competitions and please do share if you find some new ones coming up

ps: not sure of your design style, but you can always get prepared and apply to the Hyeres fashion festival for next season (see related topic & links)

    I love that

That just proves to me people have distorted images of what goes for what sex. Men,centuries ago wore skirts, tunics(everything percieved as for women nowadays),long before women.

Europe, England preferably. Wouldnt be much of a problem if the perfect one is found.

Sorry I forgot to mention this, the diameter 1m-1.5m would be essential.

That is ambitious of you. I suppose you can call it a learning experience.
To me that clockworks looks like a lost cause. On eBay you can buy a
mechanical travel alarm clock that works for about $10.

    Thanks,

If they can roll out an efficient architecture like Maxwell it will be good.
But for those who was waiting huge leaps will probably be dissappointed. Smaller transistors is required for that

To Bad, no new Notebook for me this year :/
But ist good to, no need to decide between broadwell and skylake 🙂

Well hopefully the SHP process allows AMD to increase clock speeds due to lower voltages and helps to increase the performance.. If they can get HBM memory in, it should make up for the shortfall from not using the 20nm process…

This is bad, both the non-running drive and the component placement on the motherboard. As win32asmguy suggested, check the BIOS, it should have setting about it. Also I don’t have a motherboard, nor the schematics, in front of me, but I think it should have some kind of mux that switches between SATA and PCIe lines. Of course they could’ve made it entirely PCIe, since it’s, you know, Z Turbo drive 🙂 It’s not that bad, but you’ll have to wait a little longer for more variety.

The slot placement is pretty bad IMO, could be intentional, again, I don’t have the MoBo in front of me, so I’m just guessing – bad HP, bad :p

I agree. I would wait for the Crucial though.

@OP – Have you checked it by yourself? Are you sure that only 6cm/60mm (2260) drives can fit in there? If there’s another mounting screw behind it, it can fit 8cm/80mm (2280) drives as well. This would give you a couple more options, like SanDisk X300, which also has quite interesting features. Search for “SD7SN6S-512G-1022” or “SD7SN6S-512G-1122”
